Photo Studio Ottavio Celestino has been active for more than fifteen years in the field of photography and advertising. The Studio’s main activities are based in Rome, but it regularly works with advertising agencies of Florence, Milan, Turin and international ones. In addition to advertising, the Studio is also specialized in fashion photography and portraits. Giuseppe Gallo interpreta le fotografie di Ottavio Celestino. His artistic work has been a way to monitor and analyze the various Italian artistic movements, but with his camera he also tried to capture the peculiarities of the everyday life. Over the years he has exhibited his works in many Italian and European galleries and museums: The Museum of Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci of Prato, Palazzo Chigi of Siena, the Pastificio Cerere Foundation, Santa Cecilia Gallery, the Ex Magazzini Generali, Palazzo delle Esposizioni of Rome and the Institut Culturel Italien of Strasbourg. In 2013 and 2016 he has been selected by Lüzer’s Archive among the 200 BEST AD PHOTOGRAPHERS WORLD WIDE. In 2013 the photographer receives from the Italian Art Directors Club the golden prize for the Grafica Editoriale thanks to the creation of a book, 150° Anniversario Unità d’Italia, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Italian Unification. Ottavio Celestino currently cooperates with various Italian artistic projects, as well as foreign ones.
